The Alvin E. Evans Library is an integral part of the University of Kentucky College of Law, with a primary mission of supporting the College of Law's academic programs, and providing the highest quality service to students, faculty, and alumni. The Law Library also serves members of the bench and practicing bar.
The Law Library features a comprehensive collection of nearly 470,000 volumes, extensive electronic resources, and a professional, service-oriented faculty and staff. Our collection includes Kentucky legal materials, and provides access to all U.S. reported court decisions, statutes, and administrative materials, as well as international resources (with an emphasis on Commonwealth countries).
As the Law Library's most valuable resource, the Library’s faculty and staff strive to exceed the expectations of all their clients by providing creative and flexible solutions to diverse and evolving information needs.
