The generosity of Katherine Randall and James Park, Jr. have made possible the Randall-Park Colloquium Series. This series brings distinguished researchers to the UK College of Law to present and discuss their research.
UK Law is proud to welcome Professor Amy B. Monahan from the University of Minnesota Law School on Thursday, November 5, at 4 p.m. Prof. Monahan will discuss “Legislative Decisionmaking on State Mandated Health Benefits: An Empirical Analysis”
Prior to beginning her teaching career, Prof. Monahan practiced law with Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago. While in law school, she was the Managing Editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law. Prof. Monahan’s scholarly work has appeared in such journals as the Illinois Law Review, the Tulane Law Review, and the Virginia Tax Review. She currently serves as the Chair-Elect of the American Association of Law School’s Section on Employee Benefits.
She teaches Basic Federal Income Taxation, Employee Benefits Law, Partnership Taxation, and Taxation of Property Transactions.
