UK graduates consistently outperform national employment averages. For example, based on information relating to the Class of 2008, 98.1% of the Class of 2008 who were seeking employment were employed or pursuing additional education within 9 months following graduation.
In a typical year, a majority of UK Law graduates (50 to 60%) will choose to go directly into private practice, with the next most popular option being a judicial clerkship with a state or federal judge (15 to 25%). The number of UK Law graduates choosing a career in government ranges from 5-15% depending upon student interest, as well as state and federal funding for new positions. A smaller number of graduates go into careers in public interest, business, or decide to pursue an advanced degree.
